OBJECTIVE
Objective
In 2021, Findomestic introduced the Ecological Footprint feature within its mobile banking app. This tool allows account holders to monitor the CO₂ emissions linked to their purchases and access educational content to help adopt more sustainable daily habits. In this context, Findomestic partnered with AWorld to deepen customer engagement around sustainability, combining impact measurement with accessible, actionable education.

SOLUTION
Solution
AWorld's platform features were integrated into the Findomestic mobile app, accessible to over 200,000 account holders. The initiative enhances customer awareness of the climate impact of their purchases—supported by data from Swedish startup Doconomy—while also equipping them with the tools and knowledge to reduce and offset their footprint. Every month, Findomestic customers receive new educational content within the bank's web app, created by AWorld and aligned with the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These are delivered as engaging, story-based modules focused on environmental, social, and financial sustainability. In 2025, customer engagement will increase further: AWorld's features will be integrated into the Findomestic loyalty program, encouraging customers to complete specific missions and earn Green Loyalty as rewards.
